Athletics

The Pirate Playbook, an in-depth look at Pirate athletics on ESPN 104.3 FM / 1400 AM, is on the air at 6 p.m. on Tuesday. B.J. Bennett will be the host for the show. If you can't hear the show on the radio then tune in online at ESPNCoastal.com.

Baseball

The Armstrong State University baseball squad went 2-2 on the week, beginning the week with a 15-2 win over Brewton Parker on Tuesday. The Pirates used an 11-run fourth inning to come away with the win over the Barons.

The Pirates then hosted Flagler College in a three-game Peach Belt Conference series over the weekend. The Saints took Friday's game one, 17-8, behind two big innings. Will Hodges' two-out, two-run single snapped a 4-4 tie in Saturday's game to give the Pirates their first league win, 6-4.

Flagler then edged the Pirates, 2-1, on Sunday to take the series win.

This week, the Pirates will host Belmont Abbey in a 3:00 p.m. non-conference contest on Tuesday. Follow live stats for the matchup with the Crusaders. Armstrong State will then visit Georgia Southwestern for a three-game PBC series, beginning with Friday's 6:00 p.m. contest. The series will conclude with a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader. Georgia Southwestern will have live audio and live stats of all three games.

Softball

The No. 17-ranked Armstrong State University softball team took the field for Senior Day on Saturday, splitting with the University of Montevallo. The Pirates took game one behind Jane Trzaska's two-hit shutout, 9-0, but fell in the second game, 5-0.

The Pirates will wrap up the 2017 regular season with a pair of PBC doubleheaders this week. Armstrong State hosts Georgia College on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m., then Augusta on Friday at 1:00 p.m. Watch live video and view live stats of the games this week.

Men's Golf

The Armstrong State University men's golf team finished 10th at the 2017 Argonaut Cup, hosted by the University of West Florida at the Pensacola Country Club.

This week, the Pirates will travel to St. Augustine, Fla., for the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Championships at the World Golf Village on Friday through Sunday. Follow live scoring of all three days of action via Golfstat.

Women's Golf

Men's Tennis

The No. 4-ranked Armstrong State University men's tennis team notched a pair of Peach Belt Conference wins this week, blanking Young Harris, 9-0, on Saturday, then knocking off previously unbeaten in league play, No. 5 Lander, 5-4 on Sunday.

This week, the Pirates will wrap up the regular season with a pair of home matches. Armstrong State will take on Auburn-Montgomery on Friday at 1:00 p.m., then No. 13-ranked North Georgia on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.

Women's Tennis

No. 4-ranked Armstrong State University notched a pair of 9-0 Peach Belt Conference wins on the week. The Pirates defeated Young Harris on Saturday, then knocked off Lander on Sunday.
