SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong State University men's and women's tennis teams will host NCAA Southeast Regional action after the release of the championship fields for the 2017 NCAA Division II Tennis Championships on Tuesday evening.
The No. 4-ranked Armstrong State women's tennis team (22-4), two-time defending NCAA Division II National Champions and winners of seven of the last nine titles, are the second seed in the Southeast Region and will begin action on Monday, May 1st, hosting seventh-seeded Tusculum (20-7) at 2:00 p.m. The other Monday match features third-seeded Flagler (19-4) and sixth-seeded Georgia College (12-10), also at 2:00 p.m.
The winners of Monday's matches will meet at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, to play for a berth at the 2017 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Round of 16, to be held in Altamonte Springs, Fla., on May 10-13.

On the men's side, the No. 4-ranked Pirates (18-7) are also the second seed and will begin action in the regional by taking on seventh-seeded Georgia College (11-11) on Saturday, April 29th, at 1:00 p.m. The other Saturday match pits third-seeded Lander (16-5) and sixth-seeded USC Aiken (10-9) in another 1:00 p.m. tilt.
Saturday's winners will meet at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, to play for a berth at the 2017 NCAA Division II Women's Tennis Round of 16, to be held in Altamonte Springs, Fla., on May 9-12.
