SAVANNAH, Ga. - Armstrong Atlantic State University senior men's golfer Ridge Purcell has been named to the All-Southeast Region squad by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) as the organization released its all-region squads on Wednesday.
Purcell led the Pirates in 2010-11 with a 73.79 stroke average, helping Armstrong earn its 10th straight NCAA Championships berth. The LaGrange, Ga., native ranked 10th in the PBC in stroke average and recorded four top 10 finishes in 11 events played during the season. Purcell also earned All-Peach Belt Conference honors during the season as well.
