SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong State University men's golf team welcomes in eight other schools from around the Southeast for the 2016 Armstrong Pirate Men's Golf Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Ga.
This year marks the 15th year of the Pirate Invitational, and the field features No. 11-ranked Flagler from the Peach Belt Conference, along with fellow PBC schools Young Harris, Lander, Clayton State and North Georgia, along with the host Pirates.
Barton College represents Conference Carolinas and Coker represents the South Atlantic Conference, while No. 12-ranked West Georgia represents the Gulf South Conference.
Play will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday and comprise two rounds of action. The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with a single round of 18 holes beginning at 8:30 a.m. Click here for the history of the Pirate Invitational.
