Men's Golf Hosts 2017 Armstrong Pirate Men's Invitational Monday And Tuesday

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong State University men's golf team welcomes in 11 other schools from around the Southeast for the 2017 Armstrong Pirate Men's Golf Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at Savannah Quarters Country Club in Pooler, Ga.

This year marks the 16th year of the Pirate Invitational, and the field features five nationally-ranked schools in No. 5 Nova Southeastern, No. 7 North Alabama, No. 14 Valdosta State, No. 15 Lander and No. 22 Flagler.

Joining the host Pirates from the Peach Belt Conference are Georgia College, Young Harris, North Georgia and Clayton State. Gulf South Conference foe West Georgia and SIAC foe Albany State round out the field.

Play will begin with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday and comprise two rounds of action. The tournament will conclude on Tuesday with a single round of 18 holes beginning at 8:00 a.m. Click here for the history of the Pirate Invitational.
