Weather Halts Pirates' Action At UWF Argonaut Cup Monday

PENSACOLA, Fla. - Weather halted play at the 2017 UWF Argonaut Invitational with the first round in progress for the Armstrong State University men's golf team on Monday at the Pensacola Golf Club.

Four of the five Pirate players were able to play through 17 holes, with only one player - junior Ryan Emery - able to complete a full round. Emery fired a three-over-par 75 score, while freshman Spencer Ball was even par through 17. Junior Gustav Beckvid was one over par through 17, while freshman Max Trydefeldt was five over par through 17 holes. Senior Jake O'Bryan was 10 over par through 17 holes.

The first round of action will conclude with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday, with another round of 18 holes to follow to finish the tournament.
