Men's Tennis Ranked No. 7 In Latest ITA Division II National Rankings

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong State University men's tennis team is ranked No. 7 in the latest ITA Division II Men's Tennis national rankings, released today by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

West Florida remains the top-ranked team in DII, with Barry second and fellow Peach Belt school Columbus State third. Hawaii Pacific, Valdosta State and Saint Leo all appear ahead of the Pirates. Armstrong State has played 10 matches against the Top 10 teams in the latest rankings, sporting a 4-6 mark.

Individually, senior Luca Cerin is ranked No. 38 in singles, while the duo of Cerin and senior Ignacio Hernandez remained ranked No. 19 in the nation in doubles.

Armstrong State will be next in action Saturday, April 29, hosting No. 31-ranked Georgia College in NCAA Southeast Regional action at 2:00 p.m.
