Max Sukalo finished his first season as an assistant coach for the Armstrong State men's and women's tennis teams in 2016-17.
Sukalo joined the Armstrong State tennis program from Adrian College, where he served as the head coach for the Bulldogs for two seasons from 2014-16. An NCAA Division III institution in Michigan, Sukalo led the men's program to a 34-15 record in his two seasons and a berth in the MIAA Championship match in 2014-15, where his squad set a school record for wins in a single season with 19. The women were 19-21 in his two seasons with the Bulldogs.
Prior to his job in Michigan, Sukalo worked as an assistant coach at a pair of Florida DI institutions - Bethune-Cookman (2013-14) and Florida Atlantic (2012-13).
Sukalo received his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Arizona in 2007 and his master's degree in management from the University of Florida in 2009.
