Both players led the Pirates in the Battle at Old South in Hilton Head over the weekend, tying for fourth individually with one-over-par 145 totals. Each player shot a one-over-par 73 on Saturday, then an even-par 72 on Sunday to help Armstrong State finish second in the tournament, the best finish in a season-opening tournament for the women's golf program.
A native of London, England, Bargeron's tournament was her third career top-five finish and this is her first PBC weekly honor. Arjun, meanwhile, also earns her first weekly honor as the Bangalore, India, native picked up her third career top-five finish as well.
The duo will be next in action with the Pirates when they travel to Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., on October 10-11 for the Guy Harvey Invitational.
