Women's Golf Tied For 11th At FSC Grasslands Invitational After Monday's Action

LAKELAND, Fla. - The Armstrong State University women's golf team shot rounds of 311 and 309 on Monday to sit tied for 11th place at the FSC Grasslands Invitational, held at the Grasslands Golf & Country Club in Lakeland, Fla.

The Pirates' two-round 620 total is tied with Montevallo for 11th in the 18-team field. Barry (593) leads the field by five strokes over Rollins (598), with Saint Leo (600), host Florida Southern (602) and Nova Southeastern (603) rounding out the top five schools.

Junior Sophie Bargeron shot consecutive rounds of 74 to sit in 10th place individually with a 148 total. Junior Nikita Arjun shot consecutive rounds of 76 to sit tied for 26th place with a 152 total, while freshman Eva Martinez Calavia shot rounds of 78 and 79, tying for 45th individually after Monday's action.

Sophomore Bailey Buie shot rounds of 90 and 80 to sit tied for 83rd place with a 170 total. Senior Molly Molyneaux is also tied for 83rd after shooting rounds of 83 and 87 on Monday, rounding out the Pirates' scoring.

Play concludes at the FSC Grasslands Invitational on Tuesday with a single round of 18 holes.
