Armstrong Soccer Remains No. 22 In NSCAA Top 25 Poll

SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong Atlantic State University women's soccer squad remained No. 22 in this week's release of the NSCAA Division II Top 25 Coaches' Poll, announced today by the organization.
The Pirates (8-2-1) held firm at No. 22 after playing just once last week, recording a 2-0 win over UNC Pembroke on Saturday. Armstrong has now appeared in the national rankings four out of the seven polls released in 2011, including the last two.
Bridgeport (11-0) continues to top the rankings, followed by Abilene Christian (11-0-1), Grand Valley State (11-0-2), California (Pa.) (9-0-2) and Saint Leo (11-0-1). Fellow Peach Belt school North Georgia (10-0) checks in at No. 10, while future Armstrong opponent Rollins (9-1-1) is ranked No. 13.

The Pirates return to action on Wednesday, October 12, hosting Flagler in a Peach Belt Conference matchup at 3:30 p.m. at the Armstrong Soccer Field.
