Pascutti Earns NSCAA Scholar All-America Honors

SAVANNAH, Ga. - Armstrong Atlantic State University junior forward Kristina Pascutti has been named to the 2011 NSCAA Women's College Scholar All-America Team, released this week by the organization.
Pascutti earned second-team honors on the College Division team, capping a postseason awards frenzy in which the Lilburn, Ga., native also earned NSCAA Second Team All-America honors, Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-America honors as well as Co-Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year honors.
The junior forward tallied a team-high 12 goals to go with three assists, leading the No. 3-ranked Pirates with 27 points. She also carries a 3.79 GPA in biology while helping Armstrong reach its first NCAA DII Final Four in 2011. The Pirates finished the 2011 season with an 18-3-3 overall record.

Armstrong returns 22 players - including Pascutti - from last season's Peach Belt and Southeast Region champion squad for 2012.
