SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Armstrong State University women's tennis team checks in at No. 5 in the latest ITA Division II Women's Tennis national rankings, released today by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
BYU-Hawaii remains the top-ranked team in the nation, while Barry checks in at No. 2. Lynn is third and Columbus State fourth ahead of the Pirates.
Individually, junior Lena Lutzeier climbed one spot in the singles rankings to No. 4. The Blaustien, Germany, native is 24-1 this Spring season in singles action.
In doubles, Lutzeier and senior Diana Stomlega also climbed one spot and are currently ranked No. 2 in the nation, behind only the duo of Dallas Zhang and Summer Wen from BYU-Hawaii. The pair are 19-1 this Spring season in doubles.

Armstrong State will be next in action Monday, May 1st, hosting Tusculum in NCAA Southeast Regional action at 2:00 p.m.
